Sally Paterson, fabric Designer and product innovator from Patersonrose, divulges her inspiration behind the Emma & Stripy Sam designs.

“I designed Emma to be very girlie. Pinks and greens are such complimentary colours. A friend of mine in Australia had the most adorable  pink and Resene Geneva green room. It was so beautiful it stimulated me to commence my creation of Emma and was the background behind this adorable design.”

On Stripy Sam, Sallys says …” with colours of the sea and a hint of red, boys need strong designs that have a classic element. This design is very special to me as it is named after my beautiful son Sam.”

Sally, what new developments are in the pipeline for Patersonrose?

“Last year i designed 5 new rugs which are almost on-shore and will be released early next month.  Mid year will see the launch of our new younger boys collection, Wills Star.  I am always busy creating & being inspired”
