With great pleasure, we present the rooms awarded 2nd place in our ‘Show us your Room’ photo competition 2017. These rooms were selected for their use of colour, some creative license, a dash of design flair & fab presentation, all creating delightful bedroom spaces. Congratulations!
Rachael Twigg –

The Judges said …”This girls room is very complete. We loved the use of the colour aqua to link the wall, bed & window dressing, yet the room is not overwhlemed by aqua; there is also good use of other colour elements such as red. The lines are simple, not congested & there is lovely use of accessories – the wall book cube, ‘dream’ & the red heart. Nice layering with the cushions. What girl, big or small, wouldn’t love to sleep in this room!”

Kathryn Taylor – Christchurch: This is my 3 year olds ‘big girls room.’ It was her birthday present that she upgraded to a big bed and a new colour scheme. She adores it and I love how funky and bright the Patersonrose linen makes it! The curtains are her old cot sheets and stitched down the sides of plain lavender ones.
Kathryn Taylors Big Girls room : Lou Lou quilt cover & Lou Lou comforter, bunting & assorted girls cushions. The judges said …” There is a wonderful use of innovation in this girls bedroom. Fantastic use of PR girls Lou Lou bedding, intertwined with the same fabrics to make curtains & also the word ‘free’ Clever!! We really like the use of a colour from wall to bed to curtain trims, & again, this colour use is not overpowering; rather it’s leveled with the stronger colours in the Lou Lou linen. A very smart girls room. Well done“
